Industrial businesses 'saving energy with LEDs' - 15/06/2012
Business energy customers are increasingly looking at ways in which they can get cheap energy in their buildings.
This is according to managing director at Ensys Technologies Omar Ibrahim, who explained LED lights can be an excellent way for firms to reduce their outgoings.
He pointed out that the bulbs are particularly useful for enterprises that have large factories or warehouses, as they are the perfect alternative to tube or high bay lighting.
These are "power hungry" and firms will "start to see considerable savings" by installing LEDs rather than fluorescent lighting, Mr Ibrahim stated.
He also pointed out that the lights provide a good return on investment, which could see uptake increase across the industrial industry.
Research conducted by Zeco Energy found 51 per cent of enterprises are worried about the effect rising gas and electricity prices will have on their organisation, which could mean they want to consider fitting LEDs.
