Energy suppliers ENER-G are set to launch a new building at the company headquarters in Greater Manchester later this year.
The £2 million, 12,500 sq ft building is currently under construction on an adjacent site to ENER-G House in Daniel Adamson Road, Salford, and is scheduled to open in December 2010.
The development will increase ENER-G's manufacturing space by 25 per cent and will help the company keep pace with worldwide demand for sustainable cheap energy technologies.
Around 125 staff members will be transferred to the new office complex from the group's ENER-G Procurement and ENER-G Efficiency divisions in leased premises at St James's House in nearby Pendleton.
Derek Duffill, group managing director at ENER-G, said: "Our innovative products and services are in demand across the globe, fuelling powerful growth, which is reflected in a rapid rise in turnover and the need to expand our main site in Salford."
Last year ENER-G's worldwide turnover reached £125 million - 47 per cent of which was generated by export sales.
