An energy supplier is to offer a range of advice and support measures to some of the most vulnerable cheap energy customers in Wales.
British Gas has teamed up with the Welsh assembly to target households that are struggling to pay their cheap gas and electricity bills.
It comes as part of the new fuel poverty scheme for Wales, which is set to replace the home energy efficiency service.
The assembly commented: "One of the key ways that we can address fuel poverty is by making Welsh homes as energy efficient as possible.
"Our new scheme makes sure that help to tackle fuel poverty is made available to those householders that need it most, and [we] hope it will make a real difference to people across Wales who are more vulnerable to fuel poverty."
Wales hopes to eradicate fuel poverty by 2018 and British Gas says it will help to do this by maximising energy efficiency in homes.
