ScottishPower launches fixed rate deal - 22/08/2011
Consumers wanting to compare energy prices in the hope of finding cheap gas and electricity bills might be interested in a new deal from ScottishPower.
The energy supplier's Online Fixed Saver December 2012 offer freezes prices until the end of next year and is 13.9 per cent cheaper than its standard monthly direct debit prices as of August 1st 2011.
It can be withdrawn at any point, so domestic energy users are advised to sign up quickly to this or any other fixed rate tariff in order to lock in prices for the next few months.
The ScottishPower deal can charge cancellation fees if customers switch to a different energy supplier but they also benefit from the company's Online Energy Service, which saves around £15 a year.
