Equipower

Equipower is the electricity division of Ebico and  was founded in 1998. It is a not-for-profit Company, with a stated aim to harness the power of ‘the market’ to tackle real issues of social concern.

Equipower's guiding principles are a bias towards those on low incomes and stewardship of resources. The company’s initiatives have been open to all households since 1999.

They offer low prices particularly for prepayment customers and a basic service.  We have had mixed reviews from customers who have tried to switch them.  Some have found it very difficult, others straightforward.
