SEEBOARDSEEBOARD, formerly the South Eastern Electricity Board (SEEB), was a British electricity company. In 1990, the Area Electricity Boards were changed to independent Regional Electricity Companies. SEEBOARD was later bought by EDF Energy and merged with London Energy and SWEB (South Western Energy Board) Energy as EDF Energy, the UK branch of EDF. The SEEBOARD brand was eventually discontinued in 2006, along with the London and SWEB Energy brands following the launch of single, national identity.

EdF Service RatingEdF has been rated 4 stars out of 5, or good by energyhelpline.com. Overall, EdF has a good service rating as they have fairly low levels of complaints as recorded by energywatch coupled with a 24 hour call centre and a relatively broad service offering. EdF offer a range of tariffs - including online, standard and capped packages the cheapest one being their Online standard deal, although customer switching to the package should be aware that they will not receive a paper bill.
