British Gas - Green Price Protection

Electricity for this tariff is generated from environmentally friendly sources such as Wind Farms, and is offered to customers at no additional cost. Customers will be on the green tariff until they revert back to normal energy supply arrangements.
British Gas's partner, Carbon Neutral Company, will plant a new sapling for every 10 customers signing up. Customers will also get a quarterly environmental e-magazine.

There are cancellation penalties if you leave this tariff before the contract end date of 31/03/09, and these are £30 for gas and £20 for electricity.
