British Gas - Green Standard
British Gas is the largest provider of gas and electricity in the UK with about 10 million gas customers and 5 million electricity customers. They are also known as Scottish Gas in Scotland and Nwy Prydain in Wales.This is the British Gas Standard gas and electricity tariff which can be paid online or by paper billing. However, you won’t receive any online discount on your bills and British Gas has a number of cheaper tariffs. There is no cancellation charge to switch away from a standard tariff.
Electricity for green tariffs is generated from environmentally friendly sources such as Wind Farms, and is offered to customers at no additional cost.
