Southern Electric - RSPB

RSPB was available on a dual fuel or electricity only basis and was not available if Southern Electric only supplied gas to the property. This product was available for domestic supplies only, with availability in the UK excluding Channel Islands and Northern Ireland.

This tariff is no longer available, but Southern Electric offer many other tariffs.

Southern Electric is part of the Scottish and Southern Energy Group, one of the UK's leading energy companies. Along with their other energy brands, SWALEC, Scottish Hydro Electric and Atlantic Electric and Gas, they serve over 9 million customers across England, Wales and Scotland.

Southern Electric generally offers competitive prices and has a reputation for excellent customer service. They have been given a 5 star service rating by energyhelpline.com as they had by far the lowest level of complaints in the industry (source: Consumer Focus). They offer a number of tariffs (as shown on our results screen):

Nil Service Charge - Competitively priced gas and electricity backed up with a very good service from one of the country’s leading suppliers. There is a 5% discount for those who pay by direct debit. There is also additional help to those customers such as the elderly.

better plan - 100% green electricity sourced from hydro-electricity.

Alternatively you can choose an energyplus product. This is available at no extra cost for dual fuel and electricity only customers.
