British Gas drops standard prices by 7% and launches new cheapest online tariff by Mark Todd

British Gas has dropped its standard prices by 7% making them the cheapest supplier for average level users of gas and electricity. They also launched a new onlne tariff, WebSaver v5, that is the cheapest in the market for average level users. For higher and lower level users, generally detached homes and flats then other companies are generally cheaper so do a comparison to check who's your cheapest. Meanwhile, ScottishPower have lowered the price of their online tariff and are offering cashback for the next 7 days.
