Individuals living in Cornwall who are looking to get cheap energy may be able to take advantage of a new advice pack being distributed in the county.
Produced by the FAL Energy Partnership with money provided by the Department of Energy and Climate Change, it offers a range of tips on keeping bills down, the West Briton reports.
As well as containing suggestions on how to reduce heating usage and cooking costs, there are several case studies that demonstrate what can be done in a variety of typical homes.
Designer of the pack Caroline Robinson said people can find it easier to get to grips with their energy bills if they focus on what they want to achieve.
Lorely Lloyd of the FAL Energy Partnership added: "We believe this pack will be very useful and an ongoing resource as energy costs become more expensive with fossil fuels increasing in price."
Recently, Anna-Marie DeSouza, editor of Build It + Home Improvement magazine, stated installing insulation could be a key step in cutting gas and electricity costs.
