Compare home emergency and central heating policiesThere are two types of insurance that you can take out to insure your home against the break down of your boiler or heating systems:

  1. Home Emergency Insurance

    - covers not just heating and hot water but also electrics, plumbing, broken windows, lost keys, vermin, and more. (NB. Heating is not generally covered in the summer as it is not deemed a home emergency)


  2. Heating Insurance or Heat Cover

    - these cover your heating and hot water systems all year round but not any other home emergencies unless you pay for add-ons to the policies.

    You will not receive advice or a recommendation from us. We may ask some questions to narrow down the selection of products that we will provide details on. You will then need to make your own choice about how to proceed.

  4. What will you have to pay us for this service?
    No fee [we will be paid by commission from the insurance company].

  5. Who regulates us?
    energyhelpline.com, Suite 9, 30 Great Guildford Street, London, SE1 0HS, is a subsidiary company of Fundraising Innovations Ltd which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority. Our permitted business is advising on and arranging investment insurance contracts. The FSA registration number is 315511.   7. Are we covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS)?
    Europ Assistance Insurance Limited and Europ Assistance Holdings Limited are both covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). You may be entitled to compensation from the FSCS, if Europ assistance Insurance Limited or Europ Assistance Holdings Limited are unable to meet its obligations.
