The Green Deal Finance Company (TGDFC) has been awarded a £7 million loan that will allow it to continue offering low cost finance to individuals upgrading their home.
Green Deal Providers will be entitled to access the money and help consumers to fund improvements such as insulation and boiler replacements.
The Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) also announced the launch of the register for Green Deal Providers, Assessors and Installers, which lists businesses that have successfully met standards that allow them to access the TCFDC's funding.
Energy and climate change minister Greg Barker said: "This will protect consumers, who will know that anyone displaying the Quality Mark has been through the required process to become authorised."
Businesses wishing to become officially approved can apply online, with new guidance available on the DECC website that explains what is required to meet the standards required.
