According to news website 24dash.com, Severnside Housing is working with local contractors on four new regeneration projects.
In addition to the site at Moston Road - including 27 new homes, a community shop and facilities for a local sheltered housing scheme - the firm has three other development schemes due for completion this year.
Future residents of the shared-ownership homes in Sundorne may benefit from cheap energy bills as the buildings contain high levels of insulation, efficient condensing boilers and solar panels to provide hot water, claims the news source.
The £1.8 million development is expected to be ready from December this year, and will be known as Sandhurst Meadows.
A registered social landlord, Severnside currently provides accommodation in more than 5,000 properties across Shropshire.
