Energy suppliers Ovo Energy have enlisted the help of Bottle PR to organise their advertising campaigns.
The PR firm will head Ovo's new national media campaign that promotes cheaper, greener and simpler energy.
Ovo also hopes to build brand awareness around its "simple and excellent" customer service and engage in corporate and customer communications through a multi social media platform.
Stephen Fitzpatrick, managing director and founder of Ovo Energy, said Bottle PR was chosen because the firm is a good match for Ovo and the need for a change in the current energy market.
"We felt that Bottle PR was the perfect PR agency to help communicate how we're challenging the status quo," he said.
Ovo Energy was hailed as the cheapest energy provider when it launched on the market but recently surprised consumers by increasing the price of its tariff by eight per cent.
Experts saw the price hike is a warning sign and urged consumers to compare energy providers to ensure that they are getting a good deal.
