Vulnerable users looking to improve their home to get cheap energy could take advantage of a new offer from EDF.
The firm has stated that as well as providing free insulation to those most in need of assistance, households will also receive a payment of £200 to help meet their fuel bills.
Eligible users include people who are earning under £16,160 and receiving Child Tax Credit, as well as those claiming Pension Credit and is open to all households, regardless of whether EDF is their gas and electricity supplier.
Managing director of customer supply at EDF Martin Lawrence said: "Our delivery of free insulation provides significant and permanent benefits to vulnerable consumers struggling to pay their fuel bills."
He added the offer of up to £200 cash-back could also provide a valuable injection of finances during a difficult economic time.
Last month, the firm also launched its Blue +Price promise, which will see it inform consumers of another supplier offers a deal that would be more than £1 a week cheaper.
