Could addition to boiler help cut energy bills? - 04/11/2011

Individuals looking to perform an energy comparison in order to find a cheap gas and electricity suppliers may be interested in a new technology that is claimed to be able to cut bills.

The Boostaboiler from Magnatech uses magnetic technology to rise the temperature at which the boiler burns fuel, making it more efficient.

Independently verified by the EU's Environmental Technologies Verification Scheme, the device is said to offer improvements of up to ten per cent on a home's gas bills, as well as a reduction in carbon emissions.

Director of Magnatech Ian Gander said: "As energy prices continue to soar, we wanted to bring this device to UK homes and not only help the nation cut their bills but also make a positive impact on the environment."

He added it is simple to install and can be taken with a person when they move home, so they can enjoy a lifetime of savings.

Recently, it was noted by aspect.co.uk that many householders may be looking to fit efficiency measures such as more efficient boilers or solar panels in order to combat rising gas and electricity boilers.
