Elderly individuals are being encouraged to sign up to a scheme that can help them get cheap energy, as well as help with paying their bill.
Age UK has partnered with E.ON to offer free insulation to anyone in receipt of Pension Credit, whether they get their gas and electricity from E.ON or not.
Applicants will also receive a cheque for £100 to help cover the cost of keeping their home warm.
Nigel Dewberry from E.ON's energy efficiency team said: "This offer allows us to reach some of the most vulnerable people in society with free insulation, lower energy bills and a cheque for £100 to offer help in paying energy bills."
Managing director of Age UK Gordon Morris added the colder months can often have a large impact on older people's health, so individuals who may be able to benefit from the offer should act now.
This comes shortly after British Gas announced it will offer £50 to anyone who refers a vulnerable homeowner to its free insulation scheme.
