EDF Energy has pledged to make sure business energy users continue to get a good deal.
The provider has outlined simplicity, better service and fair value as the three core themes of its Business Customer Commitments.
This means that companies who have picked EDF as their energy supplier will find it easier to identify suitable products, while literature on different tariffs will be free of jargon.
In addition, business energy users are being offered an online Live Chat facility to enable them to interact with the firm.
EDF has also pledged to offer "good-value fixed term contracts lasting months rather than years".
These, it stated, will not come with termination fees, which the firm believes will help entrepreneurs and start-ups "budget while their business is growing".
The move comes shortly after E.ON confirmed it is aiming to improve its service for small to medium-sized enterprises so they can enjoy a better customer experience overall.
