Scottish Power has pledged its commitment to improving its customer service as well as offering cheap electricity.
It comes after figures from Ofgem revealed the firm was the best-performing Big Six provider for satisfaction with complaint handling, along with SSE.
Chief executive of Scottish Power Neil Clitheroe said: "We constantly strive to improve customer experience in all areas of our business."
He added over the last year, major developments have included the introduction of a new IT system to assist staff when talking to consumers and its tariff check scheme, which has helped more than 20,000 people switch energy deals to a cheaper option.
However, Mr Clitheroe noted there is still more to be done to improve in this area, highlighting upcoming changes such as the Midata system that will give users easy access to information about their consumption.
