Business energy clients wanting to find cheap energy deals for their operations should consider carrying out an infrastructure review to see where they can save money.
This is the advice from Howard Hall, managing director at IT products and services firm DTP Group, who noted that there are plenty of simple measures companies can take to cut their fuel bills and save money on their bottom line.
"A company should consider their existing print fleet's energy efficiency," he suggested.
"If it is ageing, simply replacing a printer to a newer model which consumes less energy, prints both sides or an all-in-one machine which replaces a printer, scanner and fax machine can all save a business money through energy usage and paper usage."
Mr Hall added that many enterprises shy away from infrastructure reviews, believing them to cost too much to complete, but they could actually save enough within 24 months to make the project worthwhile.
