Scottish and Southern, E.ON and EDF customers have been advised to compare energy deals and switch to cheaper options as their current fixed-rate deals are pulled off the market.
EDF's Annual Fix Version 4 and Price Protection 2010 fixed rate tariffs end today (September 30th), Scottish and Southern's Price Fix 3 tariff ends tomorrow and E.ON's FixOnline deal is set to come to an end on October 1st.
Next month, E.ON's Energy Discount V4, which currently has a £10 penalty fee will also be coming to an end.
Therefore, customers on these deals are advised to start looking around for alternative deals and switch energy tariffs soon before their deals end.
Richard Evans, personal finance expert at the Telegraph, recently advised consumers to consider moving to a dual fuel tariff if they are not already on one, as these options usually work out cheaper than individual gas and electricity tariffs.
Moreover, dual fuel tariffs make it easier for households to keep track of their finances.
