Individuals who are struggling to get cheap gas and electricity may be able to benefit from an event next week that can offer advice on how to reduce their energy bills.
Big Energy Week is to take place from January 16th to 21st and is co-ordinated by the Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB), which will be running initiatives around the country.
It has the support of the government, major energy suppliers, Ofgem and consumer organisations.
Manager at the CAB in Boston Stuart Hellon told the Boston Standard consumers will be offered a range of advice on how to cut their domestic energy expenses, such as highlighting the benefits of performing a price comparison.
He said: "You could save more by switching energy suppliers and an accredited switching website can help you do this."
