Energy suppliers Good Energy have enlisted the help of a number of leading advertising consultancies to revitalise their brand image.
Studio Makgill will be tasked with redesigning Good Energy's brand identity, while Good Brand will take care of communications and campaigns, Northstar will look after brand strategy, while Beef will help construct a new website.
Studio Makgill is striving to create an identity that has "stronger, more iconic recognition" among potential customers and one that stands out from other green energy companies.
"The Green landscape is full of cliches," Hamish Makgill, founder of Studio Makgill, told Mad.co.uk. "We didn't want [the campaign] to feel too corporate as its not an engineering institution."
The campaign is expected to launch on June 21st and will use the strapline: "Together we can do this".
Good Energy's main website, which is being designed by Beef, will be launched on the same day and will incorporate a number of other sites which were previously separate including the web portals of Good Energy Shop, Generate Your Own, Good Energy Generation and a corporate website.
