People keen to compare energy use demonstrated by laundry equipment may be keen to visit a show taking place at the NEC Birmingham in November.
The Care Show is scheduled to take place on November 3rd and 4th and will feature displays showing energy-efficient dryers and washers that could help reduce emissions and lower bills from energy suppliers.
Manufactured by Girbau UK, there will be seven different models of various sizes comprising the 6 Series, all of which have been designed to use less energy and less water.
Peter Marsh, managing director at Girbau UK, said: "Energy-efficiency, reduced carbon emissions and the controlled use of water are increasingly important factors and our latest 6 Series washers improve in all these areas."
He added that consumers should consider running costs as well as the initial purchase price when looking to buy new washers and dryers.
Most new white goods are more energy-efficient than older models and homeowners could find they save money by replacing equipment they have had for only a few years.
