Whoop Energy, Entice Energy, Social Energy Supply, Delta Gas and Power, and Orbit Energy make up the five suppliers who are being ordered to pay into the Feed-in Tariff Scheme.

Below is the amount each supplier will have to pay:

Suppliers Amount owed
Whoop Energy £19,013
Simply Your Energy/ Entice £28,353
Social Energy Supply £28,735
Delta Gas and Power £46,701
Orbit Energy £451,296

The Feed-in Tariff (FIT) scheme provides payments to owners of small-scale renewable energy generators, and is funded through compulsory levies on suppliers.

Five suppliers failed to make their payments by the second quarter payment deadline of 10th November 2021. These five suppliers must now immediately make these payments or else have their licenses revoked or receive a financial penalty.
