Ofgem has announced today that E.ON Next will take on all 233,000 domestic customers from ENSTROGA, Igloo Energy and Symbio Energy.
All customers of these three failed suppliers will have outstanding credit honoured and will be protected by the price cap with their new supplier.
All energy supply for these customers will continue as usual after they were switched to E.ON Next on 3rd October 2021.
All customers have been advised to wait until they are contacted by E.ON Next with customer confirmation before switching to a new energy deal.
Neil Lawrence, Ofgem’s director of retail, said:
“I am pleased to announce we have appointed E.ON Next for the customers of ENSTROGA, Igloo Energy and Symbio Energy. We understand that this news may be unsettling for customers, however they do not need to worry. Their energy supply will continue as normal, and customer credit balances will be honoured."
“Your energy supply will not be interrupted. E.ON Next will be in contact with customers over the coming days with further information. Once the transfer has been completed, customers can shop around for a better deal if they wish to.”
