It's always great to learn you can get cashback from a purchase. This helpful guide will explain how to get it from your Energy Helpline switch and just how much you're entitled to.
Do I qualify for cashback from Energy Helpline?
Any customer who completes a gas and/or electricity switch with us is entitled to cashback, whether you do so online or over the phone.
How do I receive cashback from Energy Helpline?
To get cashback from an online energy switch you’ll need to use a cashback website like Top Cashback or Quidco. First sign up by creating an account then search for Energy Helpline, click through to our website and then complete your switch as normal.
If you’d prefer to switch your energy over the phone all you need to do is mention cashback to the call centre agent you’re speaking to and they’ll make sure your request is processed.
How much cashback will I get?
The amount of cashback you’ll be paid depends on what kind of energy tariff you purchase and how you carry out your switch.
Switching online
Customers who complete a dual fuel switch online will receive £40 cashback
Customers who complete a single gas or electricity switch online will receive £20 cashback
Switching by phone
Customers who complete a dual fuel switch over the phone will receive £30 cashback
Customers who complete a single gas or electricity switch over the phone will receive £15
When will I receive my cashback?
You’ll be paid your cashback between 90 and 120 days after your switch has gone live. Before we release your payment, we need your energy supplier to officially confirm that its gone ahead.
How will I receive my cashback?
If you pay your energy bills by direct debit your cashback amount will be sent to your bank account when its ready. Otherwise, you’ll receive a cheque in the post.
On your bank statement, the cashback payment will be labelled as Energy Helpline and will be paid from our holding company’s bank account, Fundraising Innovations Ltd.
