A number of active suppliers have not paid their Renewables Obligation payments by yesterdays deadline, 31st October 2021.
Goto Energy and Colorado Energy were on the list too, but have since ceased to trade and the decision has been made to not issue final orders to these suppliers.
Ampower, Whoop Energy, Home Energy Trading were warned with final orders in October. Home Energy Trading has paid its RO payments in full, but Ampower and Whoop Energy were eventually issued with final orders to make theirs payments, plus interest, by the 31st October 2021.
Delta Gas and Power, Entice Energy, MA Energy, Neon Reef and Together Energy have all been issued with provisional orders. These suppliers failed to present the required number of Renewables Obligation Certificates (ROCs) by the initial deadlines of 31st august and 1st September. If they do not pay by the new deadline, Ofgem could start revoking their licenses to supply energy to the public.
